Installation
Install AI Product Tools, get through the Freemius connect screen, and land on the AI Generators page ready for setup.
Installing AI Product Tools takes a couple of minutes. You upload or search for the plugin like any other WordPress plugin, activate it, make one quick choice on the Freemius connect screen, and you land on the AI Generators page where the setup wizard takes over.
Install WooCommerce first
AI Product Tools requires WooCommerce to already be installed and active. If WooCommerce is missing when you activate the plugin, nothing is configured and a notice appears everywhere in wp-admin until you install it.
Before you start
- An Administrator account on the WordPress site.
- WooCommerce already installed and active.
- See Requirements for WordPress and PHP versions.
Install the plugin
Choose whichever method matches how you got the plugin.
Open Add Plugins
In wp-admin, go to Plugins > Add Plugin. Search for "AI Product Tools" and click Install Now on the listing, then Activate.
Upload the zip file
If you downloaded ai-product-tools.zip instead, go to Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin, choose the file, and click Install Now.
Activate the plugin
Once installed, the plugin appears in Plugins > Installed Plugins with an Activate link. Click it.
Choose a license or continue free
Activation hands you to a Freemius screen (this screen's wording and styling belong to Freemius, not to AI Product Tools). If you already bought a Business license, paste the key and click Activate License. Otherwise, click Activate Free Version at the bottom to continue without one; you can upgrade later from inside the plugin.
Allow or skip update notifications
Next, Freemius asks to send basic environment information so it can notify you of updates. Allow & Continue opts in; Skip continues without it. Neither choice affects which AI Product Tools features you can use.
You land on AI Generators
Either choice redirects you to AI Product Tools > AI Generators, where the plugin's own first-run setup wizard opens automatically.
Continue with Setup wizard to connect a provider and pick a starting style.

| Uninstall | Deleting the plugin removes its database tables, options, and settings, but never touches your provider API keys at the provider's side. Revoke those directly with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or OpenRouter if you want to retire them. |
