Prompt Settings
Customize the exact instructions sent to the AI for every generation task.
Prompt Settings give you full control over how the AI processes your product data. You can customize the "System Prompt" (the AI's role) and the "User Prompt" (the specific task and data template) for every generator in the plugin.
Accessing Prompt Settings
- Navigate to AI Product Tools > Settings.
- Click on the Prompt Settings tab.
- Use the sub-tabs to switch between different generators such as Advanced, Standard, Title, FAQ, SEO Meta, Taxonomy, and Image Alt prompts. Some premium prompt tools may appear only when your plan supports them.
Understanding Prompt Structure
Each generator typically uses two types of prompts:
- System Prompt: Defines the AI's persona and general rules (e.g., "You are a professional copywriter for a luxury fashion brand").
- User Prompt: Contains the specific instructions and product data placeholders (e.g., "Write a description for {title} in {language}").
Advanced Bulk Generator Prompts
The Advanced Generator uses a rich editor with variable highlighting. You can customize prompts for both Short and Full descriptions.
Available Variables
Click on a variable name below the editor to insert it into your prompt:
{language}: The output language selected in Content Settings.{style}: The writing style selected in Content Settings.{title}: The name of the product.{CATEGORIES}: The product's categories.{ATTRIBUTES}: Technical details like size, color, or material.{REGULAR_PRICE}and{SALE_PRICE}: Pricing information.{SKU},{TAGS}, and{PRICE}: Product SKU, tags, and active display price where available.
Use the "Reset to Defaults" button if your customizations aren't working as expected. The default prompts are optimized for high-quality results.
Standard Bulk Generator Prompts
The Standard Generator uses a simpler prompt structure focused on plain text output. It uses a smaller set of variables:
{title},{category},{attributes},{price}.
Specialized Generator Prompts (Title, FAQ, SEO Meta, Taxonomy, Image Alt)
Specialized generators include optimized defaults and, when available on your plan, additional prompt fields for custom instructions.
- Title Generator: Add instructions like "Focus on the luxury aspect" or "Keep titles under 60 characters."
- FAQ Generator: Customize the Q&A style, such as "Focus on common objections customers might have."
- SEO Meta Generator: Add specific SEO rules, like "Include the brand name in all meta titles."
- Taxonomy Generator: Guide category/tag descriptions, such as "Mention the range of products in this category."
- Image Alt Generator: Guide accessibility/SEO wording, such as "Describe the visible product first and avoid keyword stuffing."
Additional prompt controls for specialized generators depend on your active plan. If a prompt field is locked or hidden, check the upgrade message shown in the settings screen.
Variable System
The plugin uses a powerful variable system to inject real product data into your prompts.
- Built-in Variables: Automatically available based on your WooCommerce product data.
- Custom Variables (Pro): Field mappings you create from WooCommerce fields, attributes, taxonomies, or compatible custom fields so prompts can use store-specific data.

Tips for Better Prompts
Visual Prompt Builder and Prompt Hub
If your version shows the Visual Prompt Builder or Prompt Hub, use it to build prompts step by step, preview the assembled instruction, save templates, or import community templates where your plan supports it.
- Keep it Simple: Don't overthink prompts at first. The defaults work well for most stores.
- Be Specific: If you want a specific format (like bullet points), mention it clearly in the User Prompt.
- Test Small: Try your custom prompts on one or two products before running a large bulk job.
