How to Generate Content

Step 1: Access the Product Editor

1. Navigate to Products → All Products in WordPress admin

2. Click Edit on any product

   • Or click Add New to create a new product

3. Locate the AI Product Tools metabox

   • Usually in the right sidebar
   • Below product data tabs
   • Look for "AI Product Tools" heading

Step 2: Generate Description

1. Click Generate Description button in the metabox

2. Wait 3-10 seconds while AI analyzes your product:

   • Product title
   • Categories and tags
   • Attributes (size, color, material, etc.)
   • Existing content (if any)

3. Review the generated description in the preview area

Step 3: Apply or Regenerate

If you like the result:

1. Click Apply Description
2. Content fills the description editor
3. Click Update to save the product

If you want a different version:

1. Click Generate Description again
2. AI creates a new variation
3. Repeat until satisfied

Customizing Generation

Control writing style via Settings:

1. Navigate to AI Product Tools → Settings

2. Customize system and user prompts

3. Adjust generation parameters:

   • Max length: 150-1000 characters
   • Writing style: Professional, casual, technical
   • Language: English, Spanish, French, etc.

Example custom prompt:

Focus on benefits rather than features. Use friendly, conversational tone.
Highlight unique selling points. Keep sentences short and scannable.

Editing Before Applying

You can edit generated content before applying:

1. Generate content as usual
2. Click directly in the preview area
3. Edit the text inline
4. Click Apply to use your edited version

Troubleshooting

Issue: Generated description is generic or inaccurate

Symptoms:

• Description doesn't match product details
• Content is too vague or generic
• Missing important product features

Cause: Insufficient product data for AI to analyze

Solution:

1. Add more product information before generating:

   • Complete product title with key features
   • Assign relevant categories and tags

   • Verify green checkmark next to API key

2. Verify you have available credits/quota:

   • OpenAI: Check billing at platform.openai.com

3. Try a different AI model in Settings

5. Contact hosting provider to ensure outbound API calls are allowed

Issue: Metabox not visible in product editor

Symptoms:

• AI Product Tools metabox doesn't appear
• Cannot find generation buttons

Cause: Screen Options has metabox disabled

1. Click Screen Options at top-right of product edit screen

3. Scroll down to find the metabox in the sidebar
